Yes, it’s Beck Week on Political Pwnage. Or is that Beck Weak? If I could analyse the bus-sized chalkboard I would, but I can’t, so I won’t. Even the master himself looks confused at points unsure of what his conspiracy doodles mean. Try to decipher the noise and if you can, let us know. We are still head scratching about exactly what he means.
Glenn Beck makes running Political Pwnage easy. When you are lacking for content merely put his name into youtube, filter the last week’s videos, and there’s sure to be some blathering that fits. And here we have Glenn Beck’s address given at the last NRA convention. Beck feels he like he was adding to the annals of “I have been to the mountain top” but really he just comes off as a fire and brimstone conspiracy theorist preaching demagoguery to the choir. He doesn’t just feel it, he claims he’s ‘picking up the torch of Martin Luther King’ as he attempts to weave quotes of the great man of ‘peaceful protest’ with disgusting themes of violence and conspiracy. Fear Mongering as if America is singly focused on a mission to “take ‘er guns” ending by declaring that the words of Jesus are actually the words of Glenn Beck and the will of God is to fight for gun rights. Why then, did FOX fire you Glen?
Contrary to what the title of this youtube video suggests the only person getting pwned here is David Duke. By himself. Maybe it would be fair to credit Blitzer but really all he did was ask obvious questions and Duke took over doing the rest. First being shocked that Blitzer would bring up his KKK past as he’s attending an anti-Jewish conference in Iran as a special guest being the ex-grand wizard of the Klu Klux Klan. Yes, as if you were attending a random “free speech” conference because you’re all about defending human rights.
There’s really no quips to write up. Just watch Alex Jones demonstrating something… angry. But mostly fearful of allowing other people to talk, it seems. Jones is clearly not aware of his appearance as I can’t understand why he’d harm his cause this way if he was.
Don’t miss part 2, where Alex resorts to using a fake English accent to racistly mock Piers’ English.
No doubt, the dreaded Fiscal Cliff gives a legitimate cause for concern. But when Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner suggested there is no doubt going off the cliff will result is a dramatic downturn Rick Santelli just about loses his mind with the absolutist politics being played. He points out that the future is not actually possible to predict and this interpretation is not universally accepted. Knowing he’s scored a point however he gets confident and launches into a diatribe showing his Tea Party roots. Channeling both Lewis Black and Rush Limbaugh, Santelli starts to rant about how no one in the world, but him supposedly, knows what’s really going on. He could have hammered this home had he allowed the discussion to continue. Instead of allowing the Secretary to respond however Santelli just kept yelling and ranting against who he sees as his ‘enemies’ in congress, looking panicked in the face of the Fiscal Cliff and being laughed at by cooler heads.
